Come & Say Hi

We understand that it can be difficult to go through your business plans with someone you’ve never met. That’s why we invite our clients to an initial free, informal meeting with our Chartered Financial Planner. It’s a no obligation discussion and a great opportunity for you to get to know the team here at DFP. We’ll listen to your aspirations (and trepidations) and give you an idea of how we may be able to help.

Preparing Your Financial Plan

We’ll prepare your plan once you’re happy with the service options outlined in your initial meeting. Liam will then carry out his analysis, which includes a robust risk assessment of your financial arrangements. We'll also look into and advise on any products or services you may require such as contractor mortgages or pensions.

We'll Meet Again

Once in place, we’ll invite you to come in and see us again to discuss it in more detail. It’s the ideal opportunity to catch up and to resolve any uncertainties. Liam will take the time to go through your concerns, answering any questions you have. Your self-employed financial plan will provide greater structure for your long-term finances.

Putting Your Plan In Place

With an agreement in place, it’s time to put your financial plan into practice. We’ll take care of the admin for you, dealing with providers on your behalf. Now for the exciting bit. Thanks to your decisions, the financial freedom you’ve aspired to could be waiting around the corner!

Moving Forward

At Danbro Financial Planning, we have a commitment to helping you get to where you want to be. With your agreement, we can also review your plan regularly, to help make sure that you remain on track and in budget. We'll also give you advice on any unexpected changes to the law, or your personal life and self-employed status. Then, all that’s left for you to do is to sit back and let your money work harder for you.

Nearing Retirement: How your plan will help

You don’t have to wonder what retirement could look like.

Your investment approach and retirement plan can be as simple or sophisticated as they need to be. They’re dependent on factors such as your objectives, knowledge and risk profile.

You’ll have greater clarity in relation to:

  • When you can retire and what you need to save to do so
  • How much income you’ll need to stop working – and whether you have enough already
  • Ways in which you can better manage your finances and make your money go further
  • How much income you may be able to generate from your assets
A pension is a long-term investment which cannot normally be accessed until your reach 55. The fund value may fluctuate and can go down, which would have an impact on the level of pension benefits available.

Colin SmithiesPlanning Ahead
With Danbro Financial Planning I feel like a load has been lifted from my shoulders and that someone is on my side. I now meet Liam for a review on a 12 monthly cycle. Any day-to-day queries are sorted over the phone, or via email. The peace of mind that this service gives you is worth the cost.
Sally SwaineApproaching Retirement
Liam spent considerable time talking to me to understand my future retirement goals/plan and explaining the options before recommending a pension product. I am very happy with the advice and recommendation Liam provided.
Oner AhmetApproaching Retirement
I found my adviser Liam Winstanley completely understood my very complicated financial situation, which was very impressive. His knowledge and persevering attitude enabled me to almost double my tax-free allowance, which more than covered his fees. He is also very easy to talk to and very thorough. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Mr LoveladyMortgage Client
I recently bought a house & the process of finding a mortgage was very stressful. I was passed through to DFP by my Personal Accountant & throughout the whole process I’ve had no stress. DFP arranged a very good, five-year, fixed-rate, buy-to-let mortgage, which was all done by Liam & his team. All I needed to do was read & sign a few forms. I’d recommend DFP as financial advisors & would definitely recommend their mortgage service.
